Description
Metal Zinc’s Economy Duct Board Access Door with tab lock frame is used to access the inside of rectangular ductwork. Works in 1”, 1½” and 2” duct board applications.
Features
- Meets 2005 SMACNA Standards for pressure class and gauges (Refer to page 7.2; figure 7-2)
- 2½” long tabs for duct boards
- Matt black duct liner on inside of the door
- Cam lock on all doors
Standard Construction
- Door panel is manufactured from galvanized steel ASTM A653
- Insulation is 1½” high-density duct liner UL Classification; FHC25/50, ASTM C 1071; Type 1 ASTM gauge-21, Greenguard Indoor Air Quality Certified*, Greenguard Children and Schools, NFPA 90A and 90B
- Gasket is closed-cell neoprene, UL94HFT listed with service temperature range of 20º F to 200º F. The gasket is bonded to the inside of the frame.
- Dovetail Frame measuring 6” x 6” to 12” x 12” are manufactured from 26-gauge galvanized steel. Frames measuring 14” x 14” to 24” x 24” are manufactured from 24-gauge galvanized steel.
- All frames are manufactured with spot welds at each corner for increased strength and improved dovetail design for easy installation on metal ducts.Cams & Strikes are stamped using 16-gauge galvanized steel. The latch is stamped from 20-gauge galvanized steel. Each cam is secured to the door with a rivet. The latch is secured to the door with a rivet. The latch is secured to the frame in two locations for added stability.
Optional Construction
- Doors for 16” or greater, 4 Cam locks will used
- Galvanneal (paint grip)
- Neoprene gasket bonded outside the frame

- Stainless steel 304 and 316
